It is very common that only one file or one folder disperses into the thin air for no apparent reason. Tap to the previous versions tab and after that choose the preferred version in which you want to get back your excel file. Choose your lost data excel file and make a right click over it.
Right click on any visible tab on the worksheet click unhide.
